Patrick is the Managing Director of Asbri Transport approaching 35 years’ experience working in the field of transport planning.
Patrick’s work focuses on both the private and public sectors providing transport planning input to a wide variety of projects. He oversees the Company’s technical output including Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, parking, and public transport studies in a wide range of market sectors.
He has significant experience working on area-wide regeneration schemes, high density residential developments, urban extensions, including traffic management, bus inter-change design and active travel provision.
He worked in transport planning in London and the south of England for 17 years and has worked predominantly in Wales since returning in 2007. He has experience of development related transport planning in both the public and private sectors and moved to private sector consultancy in 2002.
He has appeared as an expert witness at Public Inquiries and Hearings. Patrick is a Chartered Transport Planner with the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Highways and Transportation.
Patrick is a certified scuba diver but as his log book shows, tends to dive only where the water is warm. He enjoys supporting South Gower RFC in his spare time and is proud to see his son continue the family ‘front row’ playing tradition.
Wyn is an Associate Director at Asbri Transport based in our Swansea office, joining in 2021. Wyn is an experienced transport planner and traffic modeller, with 30 years experience’ in both the public and private sectors, is a professionally qualified transport planner and a Chartered Member of the Institute of logistics and Transport.
Wyn leads on a number of projects, focussing on both the private and public sectors providing Transport Assessments, Travel Plans and WelTAG appraisals in a wide range of market sectors and scheme types from individual dwellings to large mixed developments. Wyn has significant experience working on strategic and local traffic modelling and economic appraisal of highways, Public Transport and multi-modal schemes.
While working with Asbri Transport, Wyn has enjoyed working on a number of education, residential, regeneration, solar farm and leisure schemes.
While Wyn has been predominantly based in Wales he has also been based for extended periods in Bristol and Woking as well as Sydney in Australia, being involved in projects across the UK and in Australia. Wyn is a Chartered Transport Planner with the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Highways and Transportation.
In his spare time, Wyn is now a doting grandfather who is now more of a sporting spectator, particularly Rugby and Cricket. While watching movies (old and new) and reading novels (old and new) is more on the agenda these days Wyn still loves mountain and coastal scenery with wild water swimming in all weathers. Live music is still a passion – the louder the better – and goes to gigs as much as possible and is partial to a bit of cider, cheese and wine.
Katie is a Transport Planner at Asbri Transport, joining in 2022. Katie started at Asbri Transport as a Graduate Transport Planner after completing her BA(Hons) in Geography from Swansea University in 2019.
Katie has worked on a number of projects, producing both Transport Assessments and Transport Statements. Katie leads on Travel Plan and CAD work within the team and has worked on a range of projects including residential, commercial and education schemes as well as stakeholder and public consultation.
Katie can be found sport climbing and bouldering around Wales whenever the weather allows it. When it rains, she enjoys wild swimming and yoga.
