Asbri Transport is an independent transport planning practice based in Wales, with offices in Swansea and Cardiff. We are a small consultancy founded in 2011 and provide specialist transport advice to public and private sector clients.

Transport Planner Vacancy
We have a full-time vacancy for a Transport Planner to input or manage the preparation of Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans.
The level of position appointed will be dependent on your experience in transport related development planning.
Our core business is providing transport planning advice for development projects, both in the private and public sector. We work in all land use sectors but are particularly active in the residential and education sectors at present.

The role’s main responsibility will involve providing the technical management of projects including the preparation of technical reports or supporting the production of such reports dependent on your position.
The position will include the following responsibilities and requirements:
- Input to/production of technical reports and project management;
- Technical research and managing data collection:
- Experience with the TRICS database, Junctions 9/10 and LINSIG software packages preferred but not essential
- Highway capacity modelling of development impact;
- Preliminary access and junction design and on-site layouts,
- Active Travel assessment;
If appointed to a senior role:
- The support and mentoring of junior colleagues and
- Assisting Patrick with business development.
The position is based predominantly in our Swansea office, with working from home offered also. The applicant needs to hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
