Neath Town Centre Regeneration consent

The first phase of Neath’s ambitious redevelopment has been granted full planning consent with outline consent being granted for phase two.  We produced a Transport Assessment and Travel Plan in support of the sceme, working closely with the local authority to accommodate the travel demand associated with these proposals.

Barratt Homes Wonastow Road, Monmouth

We are providing support to Barratt Homes regarding a major site allocation within Monmouth. The site has been allocated within Monmouthshire’s Draft Local Development Plan for housing and employment uses and we aim to demonstrate how the development will be delivered within the plan period.

Redevelopment of former Revlon Factory, Maesteg

We have been appointed to produce a Transport Assessment and Travel Plan in support of the redevelopment of the former Revlon factory in Maesteg. The redevelopment of this 20 acre site includes residential, community and employment uses and is a joint venture between Bridgend County Borough Council and Clowes Developments.

Persimmon Homes Carmarthen West

We are pleased to be continuing our relationship with Persimmon Homes and have recently been appointed to assist with their Carmarthen West development. This is a development of nearly 400 residential units, community facilities and primary school and the site forms part of the Carmarthen West Development Brief Area.

Neath Town Centre Regeneration

Asbri Transport are pleased to be working with Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council considering the transport implications of the redevelopment of part of the town centre. This includes additional retail, café, restaurant and residential use together with a new multi storey car park.

Liberty Stadium submission of planning application

Asbri Transport recently submitted a Transport Assessment and Travel Plan as part of a planning application for the proposed expansion of the Liberty Stadium on behalf of Swansea City AFC. This follows extensive consultation and analysis of the current travel patterns of supporters and the production of a range of travel measures that minimise the impact of the stadium and cater for the geographic spread of supporters.

Aberpergwm Colliery 25 year plan

We have a long relationship working with Walter Energy/Western Coal, providing specialist advice related to their on-going mining operations, including the construction of an on-site washery. At present we are advising on a planning application to extend the current mining permission for 25 years. Our advice deals with the road based movement of coal, construction impact and staff travel.

Liberty Stadium Expansion

As keen football supporters, we are delighted to be a part of the proposals to expand the Liberty Stadium from 20,000 to 32,000 seats. The Swans are selling out every match and increasing the capacity of the stadium reflects their Premier League status. We are currently developing a strategy to manage travel demand and minimise the local disruption on match days.

Waterside Centre, Swansea, SA1

Waterstone Estates and 55 Plus Ltd submitted a planning application to Swansea City Council today for a mixed use residential, retail and leisure scheme on the Swansea waterfront. We assisted Rio Architects with the on-site design for this £20 million development and also produced the Transport Assessment, Travel Plan and servicing and parking strategy.

Planning approval for 2 Cardiff schemes

Two schemes in Cardiff, that Asbri Transport has been involved in, received consent today at Cardiff City Council Planning Committee. Asbri Transport supported proposals by LG Urban Developments Ltd to develop purpose built student accommodation for 275 students near City Road. We prepared a Transport Statement that considered daily transport patterns and considered how these patterns vary throughout the academic year.

The second scheme is a small residential conversion of The Maltings Public House in Canton for Taff Housing. We provided a Transport Statement and carried out an extensive assessment of parking demand.
