Solar park planning applications

Asbri Transport has been appointed to produce access appraisals and construction management plans for eight solar parks in Wales and Southern England in the last two weeks!  The rapid growth of solar parks looks set to continue despite plans to reduce subsidies in the sector.

Successful appeal decision for residential development, Llantwit Fadre

Planning consents at last night’s committee in Swansea

Asbri Transport provided transport advice for three schemes that received consent at last night’s committee in Swansea including: an extension to the Toyoda Factory in Gorseinon; and two Grwp Gwalia residential schemes, on surplus education land, in Swansea and Morriston.

Rhondda Cynon Taff residential consents

Consent was granted for two housing association schemes in Beddau and Hawthorn, RCT.  We are pleased to have assisted with the transport and sustainability issues associated with these two developments.

Thornwell Road, Chepstow

This residential scheme for Monmouthshire Housing Association received consent today. We assisted the housing association by demonstrating that the existing transport infrastructure and on-street parking are capable of accommodating the scheme.

Neath Town Centre Regeneration consent

The first phase of Neath’s ambitious redevelopment has been granted full planning consent with outline consent being granted for phase two.  We produced a Transport Assessment and Travel Plan in support of the sceme, working closely with the local authority to accommodate the travel demand associated with these proposals.

Barratt Homes Wonastow Road, Monmouth

We are providing support to Barratt Homes regarding a major site allocation within Monmouth. The site has been allocated within Monmouthshire’s Draft Local Development Plan for housing and employment uses and we aim to demonstrate how the development will be delivered within the plan period.
