Project Description:
The project involved the construction of a new two-storey teaching block extension to accommodate additional pupils and staff at Willow Dene Primary School, Oakmere Road.
This involved ensuring a robust assessment of existing active travel, public transport and school transport and assessing traffic impact of the scheme. Assessment and design of parking and pick-up/drop off areas from the existing school access to ensure appropriate and safe movement of ALN pupils at Willow Dene School. Producing Travel Plan measures to suit the specific needs of the school.
